Working together for justice.
Jubilee Network
The Jubilee Network connects congregations and agencies engaged in work with poor and oppressed people, wherever they are found, to meet basic human needs and to build a just society. It is faith in action--loving God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength by loving our neighbors as ourselves.
Native American Ministries
Episcopalian congregations strive to fully incorporate Native Americans into worship, leadership, and educational activites. Efforts to blend Native and Episcopalian traditions bring rich and varied services. The Church also encourages Native People to become leaders in their faith communities and is active in seeking government assistance for health care and other important services long promised – but not delivered - to Native Americans. Please explore the different ways that the Episcopal Church interacts with and supports Native communities.
ONE Episcopalian Campaign
The ONE Episcopalian Campaign seeks to end global poverty and achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). As the mission priority of the Episcopal Church, the MDGs focus on the reduction of hunger, child mortality, and HIV/AIDS while promoting education and gender equality. ONE Episcopalian connects individuals and congregations to MDG advocacy and educational resources.
Episcopal Public Policy Network
The Episcopal Public Policy Network (EPPN) is the voice of the Episcopal Church to our lawmakers in Washington D.C. The Network advocates for policies based upon General Convention and Executive Council resolutions. The EPPN puts our faith into action, empowering Episcopalians to strive for peace and justice.
Training Opportunities
The General Convention of the Episcopal Church has named racism a sin and mandated anti-racism training for all church leaders, both ordained and lay.
If your parish, diocese, seminary, commission, committee, agency or board is actively seeking to join the Gospel work of working against racism, the Advocacy Center will work with you in achieving that goal. We will facilitate training events, train members of your group to become certified anti-racism trainers, and provide relevant and motivational materials and resources for conventions and other events.
