Who We Are

The Advocacy Center is composed of hardworking experts from a variety of disciplines, all dedicated to improving the quality of life in the world. Their areas of concern range from international peacemaking to alleviating poverty in America to advocating for Native Americans, Indigenous Peoples, and refugees. One thing you can be certain of is that if an issue is being debated in public forums, the Advocacy Center is part of that conversation and is advocating for the policies adopted at General Convention. Some of our staff have spent decades working for peace and justice and the living out of our baptismal promise to “respect the dignity of every human being.” Be sure to read their bios and learn about the qualities of this unique group of leaders.
