There is much to be involved in when you are in junior high and high school: my life revolved around diocesan events. When I graduated from high school, I felt let down because there was nothing for me to be involved in as a young adult. I miss the community that was created at youth events. As a young adult, I feel that we are put aside after we graduate until we are 30ish and have ‘grown up.’ I hope the church realizes that we, the 18-29 year olds, are the future of the church. I want the church to offer me something as a young adult to grow as an Episcopalian. I want to be engaged by the church.
