(Friday dinner – Sunday lunch)
People in biblical times and the early Christians listened for God’s direction and consolation in dreams. Many modern people have lost their inner connection with the Spirit of God. This workshop will explore how to listen to your dreams for personal insight, creative guidance, and the presence of God. The workshop includes educational lectures, individual and group exercises and time in silence to consolidate these experiences. Participants will learn about dreams in scripture and in the early church, how people of faith today can deepen their spiritual lives by listening to their dreams and specific ways to work with dreams individually and in groups. Participants will leave the workshop with tools to decipher and understand the language of dreams, what John Sanford, Episcopal priest and Jungian analyst, called God’s “forgotten language.”
