• Application packets available in diocesan/provincial offices, and on the web site.
  
  
• Time for applicants to meet all of the local diocese or province requirements and to set up appointments to get bishop's comments and signature in order to meet January 31 submission deadline
  
  
• Completed application on its way on or before JANUARY 31, 2009, verified by one of the following:
  • Postmarked January 31, 2009, or earlier, or
  • Hand delivered to a United Thank Offering staff person at the Episcopal Church Center by January 31, 2009 or earlier, with written acknowledgement, or
  • Faxed to the United Thank Offering office and received on January 31, 2009 or earlier.  If you fax the application to us, follow up by mailing the original
    
    
• The UTO  does have the ability to receive applications by e-mail at: UTO2009@episcopalchurch.org . If you E-Mail the application, follow up by mailing the original signed copy to the address above.

February 2009 - APRIL 2009

• Application review by UTO network which includes:
  • UTO Diocesan Coordinators
  • UTO Committee Provincial Representatives
  • UTO Committee Members-at-Large
  • Church Center staff members with expertise in the area

• UTO office begins to process applications for UTO Committee review
  • Should there be any substantial changes please inform the UTO office by April 1, 2009.

APRIL 2009

• Grant recommendations are made by the UTO Committee

July 2009

• Grants are voted on at the Triennial Meeting

September 2009

      •   Funds are available for release

OCTOBER 2009

• Year 2010 application packets distributed to diocesan/provincial offices, and on the web site
